Had one of those great running days today! Not notable for an extraordinary pace or distance, but rather a great level of effort, and a nice result. Two days after slogging 23 tough miles in the Redmond Watershed, I bounced back with a nice tempo run from work. I solo’d today, and wanted to try to get 5 or 6 solid miles in. I’d given myself permission to take it slow, just kind of stretch my legs, but found an extra gear once I was out there.

Goal for this week is to try to get 20 miles in before the weekend, and maybe do 10-15 miles on trails Saturday or Sunday. It’s all about staying healthy and getting ready to race now.
